During the 3-hour tour inside the museum you will see the State Rooms of the Hermitage (Winter Palace), a huge portion of the museum’s collection of world-famous paintings and other incredible works of art.
In the course of your tour, you will be able to admire the splendor of the Gala Stairway, Peter’s Memorial Hall, the Armorial Hall, the Gallery of 1812 with its numerous portraits, the Pavilion Hall, and several other gala rooms. It is impossible to describe in a nutshell the wealth, the beauty and the magnificence of the Hermitage. You really need to see this with your own eyes.
After stepping out of the museum, your guide will take you to the pier where you will jump on an open-air boat (including several seats in a covered area inside) travel the Fontanka River, the Kryukov Canal, the Moika River and the Neva River. You will also hear many exciting stories and facts about the city from an audio-guide on board the boat. Sailing along the numerous canals in the city can be much fun, especially if you have a company of friends and, of course, your camera.
