What to expect

Strasbourg, capital of Europe and Alsace, has a historical and architectural heritage that makes it the richest city in Alsace.

Its city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strasbourg is obviously essential not only for its monuments, but also to capture the different faces of Alsace and Alsatians.
During this private 2-hour walk through the old city of Strasbourg, you will discover the heart of this Alsatian capital. The visit will start at Place de la Cathédrale where your guide will introduce you to the unmissable Gothic cathedral of Notre-Dame (no comments will be made inside the building). You will be driven in silence to the astronomical clock. He will then decipher some interesting buildings in the square such as the Kammerzell house. You will cross the Grand'rue, one of the most commercial streets in the city. You will walk along the quays of the boatmen and observe beautiful 16th to 18th century half-timbered buildings, you will cross the famous district of Little France with its canals, you will stroll through the alleys of the Big Island. If the weather permits, the guide will take you to the symbolic Janus Fountain. Finally, your guide will not be able to miss the delicacies of Alsatian gastronomy.
