What to expect

Explore the hidden treasures and local spots of Mänttä with a local. Go off the beaten paths and visit the favorite places of your local host, learn about their culture, history and way of life. You get to visit the wonderful Art Town that was created by the art lover GA Serlachius. The town was once an unknown village in the middle of nowhere and has become an amazing place to visit.

Your local "Matti" of "Maija" will show you around the awarded Serlachius museum Gustaf and Gösta. Anything further you can decide for yourself together with your guide. Try to get a taste of the local culture, stroll through the town and surrounding nature and anything you would like to visit.

You must not bring any pets inside the Serlachius Museum. The only exceptions are guide dogs
Photography is permitted in both museums, without a flash and only for private usePlease leave outerwear and bags, this includes large handbags in the cloakroom facilities. Lockers are available to use
This museum is wheelchair accessible
You can borrow a bicycle, Nordic walking poles or a rowing boat which must be returning during opening hours. You will be asked to show your identity card to borrow any of these items
