A must-visit attraction in the Centre-Val de Loire region, the ZooParc de Beauval is one of the top 10 favourite tourist destinations for the French. Ranked as the 4th most beautiful zoo in the world since 2018, it is home to over 35,000 animals, some of which are unique to France, such as giant pandas, koalas and golden monkeys.
From spring 2026, the adventure will be enriched with new worlds. Head to Australia with ‘Les Terres Rouges’, where the adorable wombats, the true stars of the region, await you, along with red kangaroos, wallabies and emus. You’ll even be able to enter the kangaroo enclosure for a special experience. Then head to “Bucolia”, a life-size farm inspired by local traditions, which promises intimate moments with the animals.
Next to it, “Les Roches Vives” will offer a playful water play area, featuring mist, waterfalls and streams. Spanning 45 hectares, the park reveals its wonders along shaded paths. On the agenda: a stop to see the giant pandas in the Heights of China, an immersion in the Equatorial Dome housing over 200 fascinating species, a face-to-face encounter with lions in the Land of Lions, a 360° walk around the African Savannah, or a stroll between sky and earth in the Great South American Aviary.
Not to mention the four tropical greenhouses and the Nuage de Beauval, the cable car offering a panoramic view from a height of 35 metres between the Elephant Plains and the Land of Lions.
